The four goals of telemedicine includes the provision of clinical support, overcoming geographical barriers, involves the use of various information and communication technologies and improve health outcomes
Medical Informatics
Medical informatics is the use of information technology to organize and analyze health records to improve healthcare outcomes. Health informatics deals with the resources, devices and methods to utilize acquisition, storage, retrieval and use of information in health and medicine.
Specialized Health Technologies include devices, software and technology that focuses on a highly specialized field of interest in medicine. An example would be the utilization of 3D printing technology in pre-operative planning, orthoses, prothesis and implants. Artificial intelligence is also another example and its potential to impact the healthcare industry.
